By using ClipScript you agree to what follows. It is written plainly on purpose.
What the service does
You paste links to publicly available short-form videos (TikTok, YouTube Shorts). We extract the spoken-word transcript and, if you ask, generate analysis on top of it: hook breakdowns and script rewrites. Processing is metered in minutes of video.
Acceptable use
- Process only content you own, are authorized to process, or are analyzing for legitimate research purposes.
- You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms and with applicable law. ClipScript is not affiliated with TikTok or YouTube.
- Do not use the service to plagiarize: rewrites are a drafting aid for your own original content, not a republishing tool.
Credits, payment and refunds
- You buy minutes (credits); one minute of video costs one credit-minute. Credits never expire. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
- If an extraction fails, its minutes are refunded to your balance automatically.
- Refund policy: if the service did not work as described, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the unused portion of that purchase. Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, so refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. Nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory refund rights you have.
AI-generated analysis is a draft
Transcripts come from speech recognition and analysis comes from a language model; both can contain errors. Review the output before relying on it or publishing anything based on it.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. A guest account lives only in the browser you created it in — clearing your browser storage loses the balance attached to it, which is why we suggest signing up before buying credits.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Extraction depends on the source platforms and third-party speech recognition, which can change or be temporarily unavailable. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely we will give notice and honour unused credits where we reasonably can.
Limits of liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
